Solarshield is Craghoppers' range of sun-protective fabric tested for UV-protection UPF40 . Sun-protection is given by a combination of 3 things, the density of the fabric construction, the type of yarns used and its colour.

Water-repellents keep clothes drier longer, making them lighter, warmer and much more comfortable. SmartDry Eco bonds the molecules of the water-repellent to the surface of the garment whilst still being environmentally friendly, as it is totally PFC free.
