The Hand-Framed Cotton Sweater is produced in collaboration with Speciale for the PS Shop. Hand-framed in Wales by the amazing Corgi, it's the perfect sweater for cooler nights in warmer months.

"I love cotton knits in the Summer," says Simon. "I couldn’t always see the point of them, but in the past few years I’ve regularly taken one on our holidays and I adore the feeling on putting one on as the day cools down.

"They provide a layer of warmth as you need it, but are cool to the touch and open and breathable. In fact they feel and perform a lot like linen trousers, which is probably why the two make such a practical Summer combination."

With a dry handle and 4-ply cotton, this cotton is the perfect weight to give the sweater a satisfying body and breathability, the looser knit allowing air to pass through. 

Versatile enough to be worn with both tailoring and casual outfits, as shown in the pictures - with tailored grey trousers, shorts and jeans.

We worked off the existing Speciale model but increased the length by over 5cm, as there's is designed to be worn with high-waisted trousers. We also increased the neck size by 1cm - the collar will still feel tight when it is first put on, but loosens a little over time, and retains a flattering high neckline. 

The ribbing on the hem, meanwhile, means the knit stays close on the waist and doesn't droop down.
